Dates to Know

Mark Your Calendar With Important Election Deadlines

October 21st

The first day county Drop Boxes must be open to accept mail ballots for the 2024 General Election.

October 28th

The last day an individual can submit a voter registration application and still receive a ballot in the mail for the 2024 General Election (the ballot will have to be returned to a drop box or submitted in person).

October 28th

The last recommended day to mail back a completed ballot. Mail in ballots completed after October 28th should be returned to a drop off box or at a polling location to ensure they are counted.

November 5th

Colorado is a same-day voter registration state! This means that you can register to vote and cast a ballot in person on Election Day! Show up at the ballot box with a valid ID to register and vote.

November 5th @ 7:00 pm

Happy Election Day! In-person voters must be in line to vote by 7pm to be counted. Please account for wait times and traffic when voting in person. Any mail-in ballots received (in mail or via drop box) after 7pm will not be counted.
