David Suppes is a semi-retired business consultant who spent over a decade in public education as well as several decades in leadership roles in private industry. He was most recently the interim COO at Jefferson County Public Schools in Colorado (JeffCo), as well as with educational support organization Untapped Learning. Prior to that, he was Chief Operating Officer for Denver Public Schools for approximately 10 years where he had oversight of Finance, Choice & Enrollment Services and Charter School Support as well as all major operational functions (e.g., facilities, transportation, safety/security & food/nutrition services). He also represented the district as a part of Colorado’s Early Childhood Leadership Commission.

Prior work with DPS, David was senior executive at Level 3 Communications (now Lumen) where he held multiple roles including Senior VP of Finance, Chief of Staff Wholesale Line of Business and Acquistion Integration. Prior to Level 3, David worked at Corporate Express (now Staples) in IT and business operations, and began his career as an information systems consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

David received a B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University and has served on boards of several non-profit organizations including Metrocaring in Denver.
