David Greenberg started work in January 2001 on what was ultimately to become the Denver School of Science and Technology (now DSST Public Schools).  Since its opening in 2004 he served a term as Chair of the Board and has chaired numerous committees.

Active in expanding educational opportunities for all Colorado kids, he has served on the Colorado Commission on Higher Education; been President of the Board of the Children’s Museum of Denver; and was a Trustee of Clayton Early Learning. 

Before retiring he spent a decade serving as Vice Chancellor - Institutional Partnerships at the University of Denver. His focus was on creating and implementing the University’s Campus Framework Plan. 

For his work on improving education, he received the 2014 Bonfils-Stanton Foundation award for Community Service. 

David was co-founder and managing partner of GBSM, a public policy and communications consultancy headquartered in Denver. A graduate of Columbia University and the Harvard Law School, he was legal advisor and speechwriter to Colorado Governor Richard Lamm and has served as a White House Fellow.
