The end is near! Graduation for DSST's Class of 2012 was last Friday and remaining students will wrap up classes this week. One of many milestones achieved by our newly minted graduates during the last few weeks was completion of their senior projects.

Graduation day never gets old. Graduating 86 seniors, all of whom have earned acceptance to a four-year college, never gets old. Congratulations Class of 2012 and your families. Congratulations Stapleton campus team for working awfully hard this year on behalf of the Class of 2012.
Hats off to all members of DSST's Class of 2012 who will graduate this Friday, May 25, at a ceremony beginning at 9:30am at the DSST: Stapleton Campus. This year's seniors have worked incredibly hard in the classroom, on the sports field, at internships, in electives, clubs and service organizations to propel themselves to this exciting milestone. On behalf of all staff at DSST's network of schools across Denver - we are hugely proud of you, Class of 2012!
As we near Stapleton High School's fifth graduation, we at DSST would like to take a look back and reflect on our very first graduating class.
It has been a sad week for public education in Denver. As you may have seen on the news, two Denver Public Schools are being investigated for test irregularities and potential cheating. While nothing has been proven yet, it is disappointing that schools which have been lauded locally and nationally are having their dramatic test score gains questioned. After all, test scores exist to help schools guide their efforts in providing every student with a great education. I salute DPS for proactively dealing with this problem and uncovering the situation before it surfaced on its own.
