Visitor Tours
Visiting a DSST Campus 2012-13!
DSST offers two types of tours for visiting educators and community members. PARENTS AND PROSPECTIVE FAMILIES SHOULD VISIT THIS PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT VISITING A CAMPUS DURING THE ENROLLMENT/SCHOOL CHOICE SEASON.
Thursday Tour:
Thursday tours are ideal for educators and community members who are interested in DSST, but don’t need to know all the specifics. Come and see one of our great campuses, watch Morning Meeting, and see a classroom in action—all while learning more about DSST’s model and routines. Tour begins promptly at 7:45 AM and ends around 9:00 AM, not intended for prospective students or families.
Charter Management Organization Tour:
CMO tours were designed for educators interested in the nitty-gritty details of how we run our schools. A full day in length, CMO tours have extensive time for classroom visits on two different campuses, a chance to see both a middle and high school, as well as a full rundown on running six successful urban charter schools. Cost is $25 to each participant for snacks and provided materials throughout the day; tour begins at 7:45 AM and ends around 4:00 PM. More details will be provided 2 weeks before the tour. Sign up for your spot now – CMO tours fill quickly!
